The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is a verbal,
quantitative, and analytical test intended for
applicants to US graduate schools. There are two GRE
tests. One is administered on paper, taken with a
pencil, and called the pencil-and-paper GRE. The other
is given on computer. It is the computer-based GRE.

Scoring
The GRE is divided into three Verbal, Writing, and
Quantitative scores.
GRE scores range from 200 to 800.
Scores are valid for 5 years.
